www.handicraftbay.com is an online platform for craftsmen and artisans across the country, making products made by artisans and craftsmen across the length and breadth of India available readily at the click of a mouse.

Payments for all the products may be made through Domestic & International Credit Cards, Debit Cards & Net Banking. At the moment, no cash on delivery option is available for any of the products.

BROWSING THE ONLINE STORE

Your main guide to browsing the online store is to use the main navigation menu, which has the names of the different product categories (State from where the product originates, Type of product work, Shop by Item browsing through each individual item, Products specifically made for Gifts, Special events, Home & Living, Décor, Garden Decor, etc.).

To reach the landing page for each category, click on the title of that category. For example, to search for all products categories, click on ‘Shop’ in the main menu. Once you reach a landing page, you can click on the sub categories to reach a listing of products under that category.

You can also reach the product listing page by hovering your cursor over a category name in the main navigation menu, and clicking on one of the items in the dropdown menu.

Each sub category of products can be sorted based on material, price, craft, and colour. Once you see an individual item in this menu you may click on that item to get more product details.

The below of search product of each product page has a trail, or breadcrumb, which shows where you have been. To return to a previous page or subcategory, you can click on this trail which will bring you back. You can also go to the top Navigation Bar to move to a different product category.

SETTING UP AN ACCOUNT

You do need to set up an account with www.handicraftbay.com to make any purchases. There are numerous advantages to set up an account, therefore it is recommended that to avail of any value-added features like saving a delivery address, earning reward points or availing any promotions on offer, that you set up an account.

To set up an account, go to the register on the right of the page. After clicking on this button, you will be required to fill a form with various details about you including your email address, name etc. Any data requested and maintained through these forms are stored and used in accordance with the privacy policy and terms and conditions of the website. After filling up your details and submitting the form, you will be sent a confirmation email setting up your account with www.handicraftbay.com. Now, you may continue to enjoy your shopping experience with our website.

ADDING ITEMS TO YOUR SHOPPING CART

When you are ready to add an item to your shopping cart, you need to check the colour, size (if these attributes are applicable) and quantity. After confirming the colour, size and quantity of the product, click on the Add to Cart button.

A small box will appear informing you that the item is in the cart. You may choose to continue shopping, and add other times to your cart, or checkout and make the payment for your product. If you change your mind and want to continue browsing you may do so at any moment during the checkout process.

You can continue to add items to your shopping cart until you are ready to Checkout.

REVIEWING AND CHANGING THE ITEMS IN YOUR SHOPPING CART

You can review and /or change the items in your shopping cart at any time.

To remove an item already in the cart, you may click on the cart icon on the left of the page. Clicking on this icon will guide to all the items on your cart. To remove any particular item, click the cross button next to the product you want to remove from your cart.

To change the quantity, simply change the quantity by clicking on + or – button.

Your order value will be recalculated automatically each time you change the quantity of a product.

For certain products we also offer Gift Wrapping Service also.

Once you are satisfied with your order, you can start the checking out process by clicking on “Proceed to checkout” on the Shopping Cart page. This takes you to the Checkout page.

CHECKING OUT AND DELIVERY

Please remember to click on Checkout button only after adding ALL items that you want to buy.

You can also apply any coupon, when the coupon scheme is operational, at this step by clicking “Apply coupon”.

You can also continue shopping by Clicking “Continue Shopping” button if you still wish to add more products

If you checkout as a registered customer, and you have entered billing and shipping addresses for your account, these will be populated in the Billing Address and Shipping Address sections of the page.

After providing the shipping address for the products, you will be guided to a summary of the order you have made in the current transaction, once you accept the order summary, you will be directed to the payment mechanism, wherein you can choose to pay by debit /credit card, wallet.

You will be redirected to our secured payment gateway, payUmoney. Enter your credit or debit card information or choose your bank for net banking transactions, and click “Submit” along the bottom of the page.

Depending on the type of card you own you might be directed to another site in order to verify your online password. Otherwise, you’re done! Congratulations and thank you for shopping with www.handicraftbay.com.

Please select your payment gateway to pay via Credit / Debit Cards or Net banking via Indian Banks.

Once you have paid via Credit / Debit Card or Net Banking, you will be redirected to www.handicraftbay.com and a transaction number will be given to you. You will also receive an order confirmation email from www.handicraftbay.com.

The delivery takes max 10 days. Please note you cannot ship to a Post Office Box.

Please review all details closely and then click on the “continue” button to confirm your order.

Your payment is processed in real time and within a few seconds you will receive a confirmation email from us.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email from us with the name of the courier, and the tracking number. You can also track your order by clicking track my order and visit the courier’s website, and enter the tracking number should you wish to see where your shipment is.
